About Pom-Pom's Players

Pom-Pom's Players is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization created to support neurodiverse children and their families in a world that often leaves them to figure things out on their own.

Through advocacy, education, family resources, and inclusive opportunities, we are working to build a community where children feel seen, parents feel supported, and no family has to navigate the journey alone.

Where It All Started

It began with one little girl, lovingly known as Pom Pom.

As the daughter of founder Erica Corsano, Pom Pom's journey with Down syndrome and autism opened her family's eyes to both the beauty and the challenges of raising a neurodiverse child. Her joy, personality, and unique way of experiencing the world became the heart behind this organization.

What started as one family's search for understanding, support, and truly inclusive spaces grew into a larger mission: to help other families feel less alone. Pom-Pom's Players was created so children like Pom Pom can be celebrated for who they are, and so families can find the resources, community, and encouragement they deserve.

Her story is where this work began—and it continues to inspire everything we are building.
